GENERAL RENTAL INQUIRIES

 

What is included in the location fee?

Your rental includes power, heat/AC, wifi, access to the hair and makeup room, client room and art room. A studio manager will be on site to answer basic questions and to inspect the whole facility when the production wraps. The studio and the studio manager are on 10-hour days from the time the first crew member enters the building to when the last crew member leaves. Additional time beyond 10 hours incurs overtime fees.

You are responsible for securing your own catering and any rental needs from outside vendors, but Resonant Studios does include a basic grip kit with every rental (c-stands, roller stands, sand bags, apple boxes, stingers). Resonant Studios sister company Resonant Pictures is a full service film and video production company and offers camera and lighting equipment. We are happy to put you in touch with our favorite vendors if you wish.

The Talent Room and Client Room are included when you rent the Studio. The Shoot House does not include access to the Studio, nor the Talent, Client and Art Rooms unless specifically added to a Shoot House Rental as these space are a part of the main Studio building. Renting both the Studio and the Shoot House gives you access to all of these spaces.

To use the cyc wall requires an additional fee because it will be painted freshly for each usage. You may change the color of the cyc for a fee as well.

What are your rates?

The Studio and Shoot House are available to rent daily, weekly or monthly. We offer rates that are extremely competitive within the Atlanta market, please contact info@resonantstudiosatl.com or (404) 228-1672 for a quote based on your specific needs. At Resonant Studios ATL all breakout spaces are also available to rent separately (this allows us to accommodate lower budget shoots that can’t afford to rent our our whole building).

How do I schedule an appointment to view the space?

Email info@resonantstudioatl.com or call (404) 228-1672 to arrange a scout. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10am-6pm.

What are your shooting hours? Can we do an overnight shoot?

Our “regular” shooting window is from 7am to 10pm - you can schedule a 10 hour day of consecutive hours within that window. Usage beyond that 10 hour window will incur per hour OT. We also do allow for early/late hours outside the regular shoot window with an additional fee.

How does crew load-in equipment?

Resonant Studios has a drive up loading dock in the front that leads directly to the main studio room just behind the cyc wall. Additionally there is second garage door in the rear of the main studio room that allows (with specific permission from Resonant Studios ATL) a vehicle to be driven directly onto the floor of the main studio. Crew may also enter via the front door in the building. The Art Room in the back of the main studio is also accessible via a third roll up garage door.

What is the parking situation?

We have standard parking directing in front of the main studio building and in the driveway of the shoot house. Upon booking please provide a vehicle count for your production day - all available standard parking is free of charge and is on a first come first serve basis. Additionally we have secure parking available inside the chainlink fencing to the left of the studio building. For daytime usage this can be used (with permission) as an overflow lot if needed. To park vehicles here overnight will incur small additional fees. Resonant Studios ATL is not responsible for the safety nor security of any vehicles nor any items left in such vehicles when parked on studio or shoot house property.

How do “holds” work?

If a date is available, you can put it on hold. If you are the first to request a hold, you will be given a “first hold.” If you are the second to request, you will be given a “second hold.”

If you or someone else wants to book the studio, you can challenge the holds above yours.

If your hold is challenged you will be given 24 hours to put down a deposit and provide proof of insurance or you will lose your hold. .
